I used textmod and KSmod and my account got baned...(but on the plaync site it says Account Status: Playable)

I understand that defining the line between a macro and a "bot" is rather hard to do. Example: Press "CTRL num7" to execute skill # 3 on all hero skill bars. edit: Third party software allows custom hotkeys not available in the control options menu.

Seriously, if they can run any type of check to correlate CC's and accounts then their system just should not be used.

Really I'm sure it was just a ban on all accounts in a wireless IP range. If you are going to pull occam's razor (which the conditions for it, never actually occur in the real world), then you'd have to go with IP range bans.

When they permabanned 9/14 of my accounts a year ago they also blocked my credit card from the in-game store.

Um, Anet gets paid through the credit card. I'm kinda sure they HAVE to keep records of who bought what, at what price, via which card etc...

I hate to break it to you but anyone you have ever given your credit card to in order to make a payment has a copy of your credit card number.

Time for you to break out the tin foil.

BTW, Don't ever use your CC to pay for a cab ride because I can assure you. I have that information. (Within 10 years anyway, after that records are destroyed.)

Good job Anet. Good job. Bots should just burn in hell. If anyone is angry because of this it's either:

A) They bot
B) Got wrongly accused (which I hope Anet fixes for them if they are actually innocent)

It's fantastic how many people start new thread saying i was banned but i use the bot only for 1 minute and i don't earn money -.-" For all the botter, when you decide to use the bot you know you are broken rules so what you want?!

Killing people is a crime but if one kill 1000 people and another only 1 i want too see if him say Hey i kill only 1...

well i got banned but i enjoyed raping noobs with ruptbot^^
only thing to complain about is that now there will be even less ppl on gw..but probably some srs players will come back so doesn't matter of botters nice job, if i was a fair player i'd thank u^^

Actually you enjoyed letting a program spam, YOU did nothing, buy a hamster next time, you can watch that do something you aren't involved in and they are a whole lot cheaper then the game you lost forever (thank you for eliminating one more moron from the game ).
